Trent Alexander-Arnold is enjoying every minute of his first experience of a mid-season training camp with Liverpool’s senior squad.
But the Academy graduate insists there has been no sign of the intensity of training dropping off since the Reds arrived in Spain on Wednesday.
Alexander-Arnold is part of the group spending four days in La Manga preparing for the remainder of the 2016-17 campaign in the absence of an FA Cup tie this weekend.
And, while the No.66 is relishing the opportunity to take part in the camp, he says the standards expected of him remain as high as ever.
“It’s been really fun, exciting, I think we’ve all enjoyed it so far,” he told Liverpoolfc.com.
“It’s a bit different to what we’re used to really, with cycling to the training ground, and it’s kind of like a pre-season, just in the middle of the season, so it’s a bit different. I’ve never really had this before and I’m enjoying it so far.
