Adam Lallana believes it is up to him and his teammates to ‘stand up and be counted’ as Liverpool look to emerge from their recent run of poor form by beating Arsenal on Saturday.
The Reds appeared to have turned a corner as they convincingly defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 at Anfield on February 11, bringing an end to a run of just one win in 10 games.
But, after a two-week break from action due to an FA Cup weekend, Jürgen Klopp’s team resumed their campaign in disappointing fashion on Monday, losing 3-1 to Leicester City.
Next up for Lallana and co is the visit of a top-four rival to Merseyside in Saturday’s late kick-off, and the midfielder knows togetherness is an absolute must if things are to take a turn for the better.
